FAQ

WARRANTY

All of our items come with the manufacturer's limited warranty.  Most items come with a year warranty.  If you believe you have a warranty issue, please contact us with your concern and please take photos of the issue.  If it is a snowboard problem, please take photos of the top and bottom of the board so we can try to determine if it is a warranty problem.  Please read below for items NOT covered under warranty.  The warranty is through the manufacturer so it is up to the manufacturer to accept or deny the warranty item.  We have no say in this process but we can help you get the warranty process started.

Issues not under warranty:

BOARD IMPACT:  If you hit a rock, tree, another snowboarder or drop it off the top of your car, this is not a warranty issue.  Just like car dings are not covered, neither is any kind of impact to a snowboard or skis.  Any kind of impact damage will be easy to see in photos.  Sometimes you will hit a rock hidden in snow and you may not know that you even hit anything, but the impact will show. 

NOSE OR TAIL DIVES:  Like above, hitting the tip or tail of your board or landing on them, and bending the board the way it was not intended, normally resulting in a broken tip or tail, is not covered under warranty. 

INTENTIONAL ABUSE:  Some riders think they can misuse their board and then get a new board under warranty.  Manufacturers are aware of this being an issue with a small percentage of the snowboarder, ski population and will not cover a board that has been misused.

RAILS, BOXES, PARK RIDING:  Riding rails, boxes and other natural terrain in snow parks may damage your board and again, is not covered under warranty.  Hitting a metal surface with your board/skis may cause damage that is not covered under warranty.

BINDINGS:  Screws, bolts and lost straps are not covered under warranty.  Please make sure you tighten all screws and bolts before you ride.  We recommend you do this every time you head out to ride.  If you do happen to lose one of these items, you can contact us to see if we have the missing part, but we cannot guarantee it.  Sometimes the manufacturer will send out a missing part if you contact them, but they also may not have it available.

Binding straps that are made of plastic, can be brittle in very cold temps, so please do not step on your binding straps as they may break and are not covered under warranty.  You can contact us for a broken strap, but we may not have that part in stock.

 

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

We will accept returns/exchanges within 30 days of purchase.  During the holiday season, we will extend exchanges to January 15th.  Most exchanges are due to boot size issues.  We do recommend you order your true shoe size or a half size larger if you normally wear a half sized shoe.  Snowboard/Ski boots are not made to fit like your tennis shoe - they should be as snug as possible without hurting your foot.  It is normal for your toe to touch the front of the boot.  Boots will stretch out about a half size with use, so you want them to fit very snuggly initially. 

If you decide to return or exchange an item, please contact us for instructions.  All items returned must be brand new in the box with all paperwork and accessories included.  Clothing must have tags attached.  Snowboard must be in original shrinkwrap and never had bindings mounted.  Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs on an exchange or return.  If you return an item, you will be refunded your purchase price minus a re-stocking fee that will cover the cost of shipping the item out to you.  This is true of items with free shipping as well.  We make no money on restocking fees - we only charge what it cost us to get the items out to you. 

 

SHIPPING LOWER 48 STATES

We ship items out every day Monday through Friday, except holidays.  We will ship your item out either the same day or next business day after payment is received.  We ship most items by Fedex Ground or Home Delivery so we cannot ship to a PO Box.  We do ship some smaller items by USPS.  We reserve the right to ship with either one of these carriers. We sometimes ship your items in multiple packages and even though they ship the same day, it is not uncommon for packages to arrive a day or two apart.

Below is the shipping times for Fedex Ground/Home Delivery - We are not responsible for carrier transit time.  This information is provided by the carrier and excludes weekends and holidays.  Transit times may vary, especially during inclement weather.  Ship date is NOT included as a shipping day on this map.

 

Express Shipping is available.  Please email us for details.  Be advised that shipping snowboards or skis by express mail is very expensive because of the size of the items.

 

SHIPPING TO HAWAII, ALASKA, AND APO/FPO ADDRESSES

We cannot ship to these places for free and there will be an extra shipping charge to ship to Hawaii, Alaska or military addresses.  We ship with USPS to these places and the shipping cost is significantly more expensive.  Please email us for costs with your zip code included to get the cost BEFORE bidding or buying.  WE CANNOT SHIP TO PUERTO RICO OR OTHER US PROTECTORATES.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

 We ship internationally with eBay's Global Shipping Program.  eBay can ship items for much less than we can do it ourselves which is why we use their program.  Please find our items on eBay under our username:  snsboardz.  When we ship using the Global Shipping Program, we will ship your item(s) to eBay's Shipping Hub and then your item will be processed and shipped to you by eBay.  Tracking will be sent by eBay.  They complete all customs forms, so please do not ask us to declare an item as a gift or lower the value.  We also cannot combine shipments at this time as eBay's program does not allow this.  It may be necessary to ship items out of their manufacturer's box to get all items into one box.  ALL SIZES ARE IN US SIZES.  PLEASE FIND A SIZE CONVERTER ONLINE TO CHECK TO GET YOUR CORRECT SIZE.

 

EMAIL/TEXT GUARANTEE

We guarantee that we will answer your email to info@snsboards.com or your text to 720-236-1257 within 24 hours 7 days a week.  Most of the time it will be much sooner. 

 

LOCAL PICKUP AND COLORADO ORDERS

Items can be picked up at our warehouse but times are very limited.  From Thanksgiving to the week before Christmas, pick ups may be very limited or not available.  Please email us to see if it is possible to pick up.  All items picked up must be paid in cash.  There is a 4.9% sales tax added to all orders picked up, but depending on the item picked up, there may be a discount issued for items that are not shipped. 

All items shipping to a Colorado address are charged 2.9% sales tax.

 

BEST OFFER

We offer our items at the lowest prices we can, so if there is not best offer option on an item, it is being offered at our lowest price.  The only exception is to current or inline product.  Please email us if you want to make an offer for a current year's product and we will tell you if we can offer it at a lower price or not.  All of our items are brand new, never used, unless we expressly state that the item is used.

 

SNOWBOARD BASES

Most snowboard bases are die cut, and the manufacturer alternates the colors on the bases to save on materials and costs and reduce waste.  We cannot guarantee that you will get a specific base color on a snowboard, but you can write to us and request a color and we will send it if it is in stock.  We do not keep track of snowboard base colors in stock, so you may not get your first choice in base color.  The good news is that it is the base of the board so mostly will not be seen.
